On 13 August 2025, Harapan Hati Malaysia (HHM) held a strategic meeting with the Palestine Liberation Solidarity Coalition (GSPP) to build cooperation networks and exchange views on humanitarian issues, particularly in Palestine.
The GSPP Secretariat was represented by Ustaz Ahmad Nu’man Mazlan, Manager of Dunia Palestin Network and Mr. M Firdaus Baharuddin from Sahabat Serantau Malaysia. The meeting also touched on the importance of aligning the narrative of the Palestinian struggle, raising public awareness and strengthening ties between NGOs both domestically and internationally.
GSPP shared their role as a platform that brings together Islamic NGOs to highlight the Palestinian issue, with a focus on public awareness rather than solely donations. They also emphasized the importance of avoiding any political influence, stressing their clear position in the mission for Palestine’s liberation. Among the key initiatives discussed was the establishment of a Palestine gallery for educational and awareness purposes.
It is hoped that this meeting not only strengthens the bond between the two NGOs but also empowers their respective narratives in championing the plight of the oppressed and raising public awareness on the liberation of Palestine from Israeli occupation.
