Wednesday, 23 July – Harapan Hati Malaysia held a formal online meeting with the Khair Way Foundation, a Turkiye NGO. This meeting followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), officially establishing a partnership to deliver humanitarian aid more effectively and systematically.
One of the key discussion points was clarifying each party’s roles and responsibilities to ensure smoother collaboration. Discussions also focused on how to streamline operations, particularly in overseas contexts like Gaza, where multi-level coordination is vital.
The meeting also covered Khair Way Foundation’s standard procedures for managing aid distribution and project implementation. Harapan Hati Malaysia took the opportunity to clarify unclear areas, while also sharing its own methods used in the Malaysian context.
This meeting marked a crucial step towards standardising operations and aligning strategies. Both NGOs reaffirmed their commitment to work closely together to ensure transparent, efficient, and impactful humanitarian missions for the benefit of affected communities worldwide.
