KAJANG, 18 March – Harapan Hati Malaysia (HHM) continued its second series of outreach visits aimed at fostering awareness of the struggle for the liberation of Al-Aqsa at Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Banna here today.
This program is a continuation of HHM’s initiative following its earlier engagement at the preschool level. Although only 12 students were present, as the school term was nearing the Aidilfitri holiday break, the program still proceeded with active participation through a question-and-answer session on the history and struggle of the Palestinian people.
The program was enlivened with a spontaneous quiz session to assess the students’ knowledge, and most of them gave good answers thanks to the exposure they had received from their parents and the mass media. As encouragement, students who answered correctly were given Ramadan-themed bookmarks as gifts.
After the recitation of Qunut Nazilah, delivered with great spirit, HHM held a presentation session in which Palestine Hope Fund boxes were given to each student and teacher to encourage them to begin the practice of saving for Palestine at home.
As the highlight of the program, the community of Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Banna handed over cash donations that had been collected earlier at the school to be channeled directly to help the people of Gaza through HHM representatives.
The visit concluded with a group photography session and the chanting of takbir, symbolizing the solidarity and strong support of the students of Sekolah Rendah Islam Al-Banna for the Palestinian cause.
